Well did some general cleaning up of my Blog if you had not noticed.

Justin said he might actually be able to get to my website soon – yeppi!  With it will be some new features (printing, prices listed, little more in site – the new stuff…) I am just laying it all out there for everyone to make an easy decision to say “yes” use 50 Foot Design and get  you thinking “I would be crazy using anyone else.”

I am proud to say – I don’t do an advertising except for my website and some business cards and pro-bono. My clients recommend me, and that keeps me and my “friends” pretty darn busy.

Also something to look forward to – Education. We work so hard at times we forget to go learn something new. I will be attending the HOW Design Conference in June. I look forward to this thing every year because I come back a better designer – fresh with ideas. I am a competitor, so I like being around other designers to push myself. Of course I push myself everyday – but then when I see someone excelling at something, anything, it gives a new wind to what I do.

It is also a great time to reflect on my business, my clients, what I should and should not be doing, and were I rank compared to others – price, skill, and creativity wise. Usually I am to low on price vs. skill, and creativity is usually up in the top, but that is in the eye of the beholder.

I strongly suggest everyone go to a conference or two in their industry to keep a fire under their butt.

So I have been pushing to get a few sites up. Here they are – the newbies.

Another subject I would like to address.

I got this on the blog the other day from another designer (or something along that lines).

“Hi nice post, i have come across your site once before when searching for something so i was just wondering something. I love your theme, would it happen to be a free one i can download, or is it a custom one you had made? In a few weeks i will be launching my own site, i’m not great with designs but i really like the style of your site so it would be cool if i could find (or pay for) something with a similar look. Thanks!”
